I think you're on to something:) Some believe that the Little Horn in Daniel 7 is the Catholic Church and that Napoleon took its power away; and time, time, and time and a half = 1260 years!! Supposedly, the Catholic Church began in the year 638 AD and in 1898, it lost its power.
It seems it will lose more power even today. Benedict has written (I think it is only available in French) that the Jews are theologically correct in not believing Jesus as their messiah, so therefore the long tradition of the church to either force or pray jews to salvation, depending on the time period, will end with Benedict. I also believe they are theologically correct. (this for another time I suppose) So, most Catholics will not stand for a theological change.
As far as numbers. I know the last two numbers can add to, multiply to, significant things such as the plagues that wiped out 1/3 the world population at that time. I believe the numbers mean past, present and future. But all add, subtract and multiply so that all numbers match and the time frame is shown. Sorry this isn't about this...:)
So if the Roman Catholic church is going to take over the world....they better do something different.
I have noticed that on the new ICC sites and on their papers, they have completely ommited Rome from the beginning. However it is still the document that mandated the court and is still the whole reason they are in existance and removing Rome from the the top in connection with the ICC, in places the world sees, will not change the fact that when it came into a personality (yes thats what they are calling it) they were all seated in Rome.
(this is by no means an attack on any other belief or religion)
