How can it be that ALL of the examples of "Mother and child", pagan myths ares "counterfeit", when they predate Christianity's Virgin birth, Jesus, Jesus's death and resurrection? And the author left out the MOST similar one, that of Mythra.

Now, it's one thing to call then "false", but "counterfeit" implies that they were copying the story of Jesus. But they all predate HIM and Christianity.

Because belief in the truth of Christianity also requires belief in Satan, the enemy of the soul, who predates man (but not God of course), who also knows God's plan for man's salvation, and looks to counterfeit and discredit it.

No, they are all counterfeit, since the word was passed from Adam to Seth and on and on, that the seed of the woman would bruise the head of the serpent.

But the desire to bring forth a son that was immortal, probably was great, so it became the "devil's playground". Nimrod died, Tammuz died, so it must have been "plan B" to worship the woman anyway (the creature more than the Creator).

You're mistaken about Mithra. See this and this.
