How would it be proven to be untrue?

These are kind of silly questions. Truth is truth, and falsehood is anything that is mutually exclusive. E.g. either Evolution ex nihilo or creation ex nihilo is true, they can't both be true. So if one is proven true the other is proven false.

Have you ever read research on how the authenticity of manuscripts is proven? There are many things we accept as true that do not even come close to the level of accuracy of the handing down of Scripture. The Scripture of the Jews and Christians rises far above that standard that we accept for the writings of other religions. And other than authenticity and accuracy through the ages, details are includedthat really make no sense if the story was made up. Thousands of people have studied the process, trying to disprove the Bible, only to be converted. So don't try and expand your knowledge in this area if you aren't prepared for the results. (and that is why many people never do...)

At some point, what you believe to be truth has to be taken on faith, and this is without exception - some things require more blind faith than others. You can keep going on saying "i don't believe anything is true" except that that is a self-contradictory statement. (e.g. it's true that nothing is true)

If what one believes to be the truth, is dependent on faith...then what is the difference between what one person faithfully believes to be the truth, and anothers faithful belief? How does one tell whose faithful belief is true?

I'm sure there are some non-Christians that have as much faith in what they believe, as you do...which one knows the truth?

I'm not questioning the authenticity of the manuscripts, I'm questioning whether they are the word of God...how is this proven?

I have no problem with possibly becoming converted...if I wake up tomorrow a believer, as you are, then so be it...that is what God wants.
