Some posters on FR have posted that yes, it is a work of fiction, but the history contained in the book is accurate.
No amount of counter-argument and evidence to the contrary can divest them of this belief/hate.

The history in the book is NOT accurate.
The most intriguing thing about the whole hypothesis, is the strange shrine to Mary in southern France. However, everything after that is just conjecture.

Some posters on FR have posted that yes, it is a work of fiction, but the history contained in the book is accurate. That's pretty shameful. They must believe the New York Times and CNN actually reports the news too, and that the UN knows what it's doing.
Sheesh. That's disappointing to hear. But I know they do hang out here, for some reason.

No amount of counter-argument and evidence to the contrary can divest them of this belief. Are you talking about the Da Vinci Code or the Bible? Both are equally poor works of fiction.
