In Poland it’s “paczki”, a deep fried yeast dough filled with custard, fruit compote or lemon cream and glazed. They can’t imagine shrove Tuesday without paczki.
Gee — I wonder if this might also be a Lithuanian custom. If so, we might adopt it next year!
