There's something about trying to say all roads lead to Rome

that is inherently rebellious . . . because we instinctively know that saying everything is OK is the same as saying nothing is important enough for me to have to obey it.

It is certainly wise I think to obey core laws of humanity, like the ten
commandments, among other writings. Rules written by man,
about man, and perhaps the best adaption for a healthy society.
Moses laid down some good stuff.

Prophecies on written interpretations seems a great way to keep
our busy neurotic human minds occupied by some relief that will take place.

It is better to conquer yourself than to win a thousand battles. Then the victory is yours. It cannot be taken from you, not by angels or by demons, heaven or hell.
