None of these were democracies. I guess you simply don't understand what a democratic constitution is. You have not read any history. Hitler came to power in a democracy and the French Revolution justified itself with an appeal to democracy. Seems both Jefferson and Thomas Paine were very supportive of it. Don't know about Russia.

There is little doubt that Russia by all reasonable standards was a democracy prior to the October Revolution. It was a democratic republic. The mess that was created by the fall of the monarchy allowed the Bolshevik Revolution to take place.
