Just a quick thought. Russia is more Christian today then is was thought to be (pinging Destro as he might have some more insight on the state of the ROC). Russia and Israel are working together, and have been increasing that bond since Beslen. Russia might be the force talked about, but I doubt it. (IMHO, Turkey would be a better bet).

As for 11/2 being a victory for the Church, I prefer to call it a respite. The elite and powerful are very angry that the Church (Catholic, Lutheran, Orthodox, Evangelical etc) turned out for Bush. The verbal attacks began on 11/3, who knows what may happen next. That being said, I thank God daily for the election results, and it gave me more hope.

A main reason I hold out for Russia fulfilling a lot of the Gog/Magog etc. prophecies . . .

One of the Scriptures refers to the uttermost North or some such. Moscow is the only capital/country that fits that from Jerusalem.

I believe there will be a few years of peace and a great move of God in the nations. I don't know how long it will last though. I do believe God is moving mightily in China and Africa and in many other nations to bring about His purposes. Dennis Cramer wrote a wonderful book about prophetic visions he saw concerning many countries in the world. I can't remember the title, something about 100 years. I lent mine to someone, but it was a very encouraging book. God's not through with us yet.
