The saints are not bound by physical bodies, they have left them behind and are spiritual beings with none of the limitations we mortals have. Even the Holy Mother, who was assumed into Heaven body and soul, is now on a higher level of existence quite above what you or I could possibly understand.

Besides which, if you are taking Jesus' words absolutely literally, it would mean that He sinned, which is certainly not true. I would like to see you stand face to face with the King of kings and call His mother a sinner.

As to praying, I find it hard to believe that the only prayer you ever say is the Our Father. People can pray any number of ways, most prayers are said without using words at all.

The point is, almost everything ultimately comes down to the question of authority. Unlike Protestants, who think everyone can interpret things to suit them, Catholics do as the Bible says ("lean not on your own understanding") and "submit to them who watch for your souls". In the past, God always had recognized people to explain things and speak on his behalf, we do not believe He decided to stop and leave everyone to grasp in the dark for the correct meaning.

But they are not omniscient nor are they omnipresent. Whatever bodies they do have are created bodies and are therefore finite just like the angels.

One is left to assume that Dubya, Cannon and Spector are insufficiently racist, xenophobic or border obsessive for your tastes.

Once again, you can't wait to indulge in ad hominem.

Since you suggest that you are a lover of "limited constitutional" government, perhaps you can tell us where the "except Mexicans" clause is. Was it enacted AFTER the Fourteenth Amendment? Read the Fourteenth Amendment references to "persons" and get back to us.

A disingenuous comment. Like the neocons that you adore so much, apparently you cannot get enough of illegal immigration to make you happy.
