What's your problem? I know little about Peter Vere. 'NYer' asked you for some documentation. Nothing galling about that.
From what others have stated in the thread, Vere apparently belonged to a satanist ring at some point in his life and his girlfriend got pregnant and had an abortion. Pretty serious stuff, that.
I presume he went through the whole conversion/repentance thing. I presume it is public knowledge and he probably has "witnessed" the story many times through various media.
Are you implying that he still, even now, approves of these serious sins? Why is his Catholic Faith called into question by your "quotation marks"?
If not, why bring it up in your response - the response - to 'NYer' implying that she too supports these sins? It did not address the points she made in her post.
Then why do you defend him?
