You're not more catholic than the pope, are you?

Patrick Madrid is holier than the pope. He makes decisions concerning the status of traditional Catholics in relation to the Church, and convinces other morons to do the same.

He's a layman, yet acting the magisterium's part.

Notice that most all Catholics anymore take their cues from Catholic lay apologists who hold no office and none of the grace of office.

That's who is holier than the pope... self appointed laymen who pretend to speak for the pope. That's what they're doing, and they're the only people the NeoCatholics will listen to and give credibility to.

It's the democratization of the Church through the back door of so-called conservative Catholicism.

Really? I always thought answers to questions statements like this would only be known at the Final Judgment.

He makes decisions concerning the status of traditional Catholics in relation to the Church,

This thread is about a new book coming out soon (if not already). I presume your statement is about such. Have you actually already read the book?

and convinces other morons to do the same.

If they make decisions about a book by not reading it first, then maybe "morons" isn't such pejorative term for them.

He's a layman, who wrote a book.

yet acting the magisterium's part.

I doubt this to be true of Patrick Madrid. His reputation precludes this statement as a thought of first instance. No one should consider it before the book is read. I would guess that this book documents the magisterial teaching and laws of the Catholic Church so others can reference them.

Hey kiddies, I got an idea. Why don't we read Mr. Madrid's and Mr. Veres' arguments first before making ridiculous

And when they take a vote, they will vote for women priets and allow priets to marry. It is just a matter of time. They are setting the stage now.
