Liberal scholars claim Daniel was written in the second century BC, yet Daniel predicts to the year the appearance of the Messiah (Jesus Christ). Would anyone recommend a decent scholarly book defending the early authorship of Daniel (sixth century BC)?

The above history is so complete that historians have said this must have been written after the fact. But they CANNOT prove that it was.
this is why i start here, though not the only prophecy to be proven, it is one of the most clear in its use of symbols. the sequence of babylon>>>mede/persian>>>>greek>>>>roman, further illustrated by even more symbols with direct correlation later in daniel leave one.....for instance, a skeptic, with only two choices; either the bible was written by the most erudite & clever collection of historians - who somehow acheived anonymity despite such an overwhelming-in-scope work....a work that spans centuries of history....or....it is god's word!

think of the mental contortions it takes to believe the former! though convinced, and convincing others of their 'superior intellect(s)'...you know; "im wayyyyy too smart to believe that silly god stuff".....the truth is - as usual with those who trumpet their superiority - just the opposite! the intellectual contortions required to believe that the bible's fulfilled prophecies are somehow the work of man belie more closely a spirit of intellectual dishonesty actually bordering on conspiracy-seeking paranoia. such thinking more closely resembles a two-year-old afraid to look under the bed....yet somehow, the prevailing view is that they're rational, intelligent, informed, and above all that bible-thumping madness

such is the fruit of the "sower of false pearls". and how thoroughly clever! those admiring their treasure, their 'find', revel in their own wisdom and sophistication, never knowing....or passionately rejecting, that what they hold...is faux.

when finally we are standing on the walls of the new jerusalem, and we witness "god's strange act", i suspect we'll be filled with many emotions....
