The Aramaic for "many" is the same as the Aramaic for "all."
That's a settled issue, and the answer came from a Maronite-rite priest who doesn't have a dog in this fight.
But sail on!
In the Gospels of both St. Matthew and St. Mark the Greek uses "polloi" which means "many". The evangelists did not use the Greek word "pantes" which means "all." In other words, it really doesn't matter what the Aramaic original is, the deliberate choice of the evangelists themselves in their translation was "many" and not "all." You don't suppose they had a better sense of what Jesus meant than the ICEL, do you?
