There are two kinds of Catholics, of the which, one is not. They come from within, but they are not a part of us. They are the Beast, the Antichrist, Judas the traitor:
1. The SNACC's, or synthetic national American Catholic Church. They are like the French back when the Papacy was kidnapped to Avignon, nationalistic and proud. They have doubts regarding the Supernatural Nature of the Church. They do not trust in God and want to nationalize the Church, kidnap the Papacy, and bring it to their own Nation with their own supervision and rules. They even doubt the Papacy, as Judas the traitor doubted Jesus. They are either liberal, or ultraconservative. They might also be in the center, and always doubting the Power of God. They trust in material things, like silver and things they can touch and feel.
2. Roman Catholics are the ones who do not supersede their “national identity”, in arrogance, to their Catholic identity. They are pilgrims on Earth establishing the Rule of the Kingdom. Catholicism is not a national institution, but a supernatural institution established by Christ. The Catholic Church is the “New Jerusalem that has descended from Heaven”, as was prophesized by St. John in the Book of Revelation. We are IT, the Kingdom of Christ that descended from Heaven and Rules the Earth. We are the Millennium, the Kingdom of God, and the Ambassadors of Christ. Even though we have Judas in our midst, as the twelve Apostle, and, many antichrist coming out from within; we are IT, the Church of Christ. That is precisely our mission, as the Magnificat proclaims: we discern the hearths of many through the Living Word, separating the weed from the wheat. That is precisely the Judgment, and our cleansing mission. We establish the Kingdom of God on Earth: Justice, Mercy, and Humbleness before the Lord. It al started with Sweet Virgin Mary two thousand years ago.
How do we do it: Preaching the Gospel, which means following the footsteps of our Lord. We are sent to the Cross on many occasions. Some of us are martyrs, but all of us give testimony of the Resurrected. We do not use swords, but the words that come out of our mouth and the testimony of Christ. We give living testimony of Christ; we educate and live amongst the World. We will prevail, and all nations will come to witness and worship Christ by bending their knees. It is not trough might and war, but through the Spirit of the Lord that we achieve this mission.
Therefore, I tell you, BE NOT AFRAID.

My commentaries are addressed to those that are like Judas the Traitor amongst us. That is, the Dissenters, or SNACC's. If you are not a SNACC, BE NOT AFRAID. If you are a SNACC, I advice you to repent in light of what the Spirit says to the Churches.

I must confess, I don't understand you. Cardinal Dulles is almost always considered the same degree conservative as Pope John Paul II. And the Holy Father just made him a cardinal a few years ago, and Cardinal Dulles was already well known.

I must confess, I did not get it the first time I read it, which was back in 2003. I am glad to let you know, I finally got it! I have lived in several countries. I have had the opportunity to look at the same issue from different perspectives. The Catholic Church is, from my perspective, different in America. In California, the Catholic Church is very peculiar. It did not surprise me to find out that the majority agreed with Lastiri. I used to be a member and officer of the Knights of Columbus. I had to resign because of the issue of Masonry ( http://www.jeaf.com/dissent/letter-2.htm ). American Catholics have been blindfolded by U.S. Bishops since 1987, according to Scanlon ( http://www.catholic.net/RCC/Periodicals/Homiletic/07-97/america.html ). Cardinal Dulles is one of those “soldiers” that blindfolded “Jesus” after putting the “Crown of Thorns” in his head. That “Jesus” I am referring to, is the American Catholic Church. To make things even worse, instead of repenting and acknowledging they (the Bishops) have done wrong, they dare to put the blame on Vatican II and on the Pope. That is precisely the Crisis of the American Church. I do not mean to scare anyone with these words. Remember what the Spirit says to the Church through His Holiness: BE NOT AFRAID! We just need to know where it is we stand, who the bad guys are, and who the good guys are. Remember, even the Apostles had doubts in the Last Supper. They asked, “is it me Lord, I am the one who is going to betray you?” Only one of the Apostles knew Jesus better than the rest, for he was a close friend of our Lord. The Gospels give us testimony of that friendship. His name was John. He was the only one who knew Judas was the betrayer. Therefore, I pray John the Apostle gives you a closer look at the events that are taking place with the Body of Christ in America today. I pray he shows you how to become a close friend of Jesus. You will understand then.
What does all of these mean? Are you trying to say we are re-enacting the Gospel, the Passion of Christ, at a National level? My answer: Isn’t that the way the Gospel has been preached through out the world for the past 20 Centuries?
