Excellent article, thank you for posting it. I'm a regular visitor to James White's website, but I missed this particular article. He is a wonderful advocate for the Reformed position.

My believe on the matter of Limited Attonment came after I memorized the Lord Jesus Christ words to the Pharasees "Unless you believe that I am He, you will die in your sins".

If Christ died for all, then the sins would have to jump off the cross and back onto the Pharasee to whom Christ was talking with. Also scripture refers to those who die without salvation as where they dry up in their sins (John 15) and are burned. The Lord also said "I lay my life down for the sheep", which sheep Christ described as knowning him and following him. But the Lost are descibed as not listening to his voice (not sheep).

Therefore, I have no choice, but to acknowlege the fact that Elect are indeed elect and that God is righteous and soveriegn in his choosing.
