Interesting. It does make sense in that God gave 2 distinct promises to Abraham. One that He would multiply the seed "as the stars of the heaven", this being the first promise, symbolizing a spiritual seed (Christianity). The second that the descendants would be "as the sand which is upon the seas shore" (Genesis 22:17) making a physical or earthly seed (the nation Israel). The idea makes sense because Paul talks of a nation Israel in Romans and doesn't speak of the church in that way. The only thing I would disagree with is the rapture theory but that's for a different discussion.
Have you ever read "Judah's Sceptre and Joseph's Birthright" by J.H Allen? It deals with the promises given to Israel and also deals with the "lost" tribes of Israel.

Have you ever read "Judah's Sceptre and Joseph's Birthright" by J.H Allen? It deals with the promises given to Israel and also deals with the "lost" tribes of Israel. This is the old British-Israelism theory later reinvented by HW Armstrong and the old Worldwide Church of God.
News Flash: The ten tribes of Israel we never "lost".
