Don't have much faith in the Cardinal.He gave a thoroughly orthodox homily on Easter Sunday that was broadcast on EWTN. I suppose, upon reflection, that orthodoxy might be a relative term, but he certainly avowed the Real Presence in the Eucharist.
What I am concerned about is his apparent facililation. Maybe he knows that there is a schism in the Church and he is trying to manuever so as not to precipitate an open break. But if that is the situation then it is one that has been caused by a lack of consensus among the bishops.
