many churches have the chaplet after mass or at 3 pm..or you and your family can participate after mass yourselves and I bet others will join you!!

My family attended a local church that had confession immediately before a "Divine Mercy" mass which was at 4:00 PM. Sadly the Divine Mercy was only briefly mentioned in passing during the mass. Although we stayed and prayed afterward dedicating our Urbi et Orbi plenary indulgences, the hundreds of other people in the congregation all left without staying to pray.

Unfortunately, most Catholics have no idea of the Divine Mercy Devotion, the indulgence offered and the chaplet. I guess everything takes time. And some priests, I don’t think, truly believe in the devotion and think it’s for just for Polish people.

And you see this throughout the year with other feasts and solemnities...Like the Annunciation, which, I think should be a Holy Day...and with St. Joseph’s solemnity, some think it’s just for Italians...I’m sure in Heaven, St. Joseph is sitting right next to his wife, our Blessed Mother.
