Those pictures are heart-wrenching. I had had no idea such a beautiful church was being closed and sold to the state. It looks like it's been untouched since VC II. The tabernacle on the high altar, the altar rail, no "protestant" dinner table, etc.

If I had the money, I'd purchase it tomorrow. Of course, I would have to misrepresent myself as the owner of a car dealership who wished to raze to church and use the property as a car lot.

Wow! A truly beautiful place! What sinners we have become that we have allowed such travesty to occur within our midst, sometimes with our knowledge and approval. May God have mercy on our souls! Is there a place where I can send a contribution to help save this wonderful church?

What a beautiful church! What a crying shame that this lovely piece of sacred architecture has been deemed "past its usefulness". Too bad we can't get rid of the ugly ones as easily.

Regards,

PS: Doesn't St. Ann's look like the church that was used in the filming of Arnold Schwarzennegger's "End of Days"?

Drolesky got it right again. This revolution may be bloodless but the consequences are the same. Is there not one decent Bishop left in these United States?
