Are you going to behave yourself this time. Are you bashing me?

"Oh Lord, come by here" was not a song this forum could have sung in good conscience. We wouldn't have wanted the Lord to see this place that managed to turn off a good number of seekers/lurkers. Pity too, with their salvation in our hands and all.
Oh well, gives us a chance to sing the classic "Almost Persuaded."
"They'll know we are Christians by our sharp tongues."
And our peace by the sword techniques? ;)

Yep, that final priestly prayer of Jesus is something to hit the barf bucket over. Can you imagine the gall of the guy.
Jn 17: 20"My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, 21that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. 22I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one: 23I in them and you in me. May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me. 24"Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world. 25"Righteous Father, though the world does not know you, I know you, and they know that you have sent me. 26I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them."
A new command: love one another as I have loved you.

Mrs. Pope Piel ain't gonna want Peter's bones in her walk-in closets. No worries. His bones are in the basement.
And plenty of closet space upstairs too.

A new command: love one another as I have loved you. Jesus to Peter: Get ye behind me, Satan!
Oooh...that works on so many levels...

They really need to wait until the conclave and yours truly has crossed the Tiber in a pirogue (cajun canoe for you not familiar with Cajun culture) to become Pope Piel I. Look! Up in the sky! It's a bird! It's a plane! No . . . it's Pope Piel I in his flyin' pirogue!

I object. As CE, TTGC I have a much more important task for Mahoney.
Cleaning the sewers.
From the inside.
With a toothbrush.
His toothbrush.

I am not Catholic, however, I see the need to work together to win in November. We sometimes forget that fact, but I can't think of any other site, where conservatives of different faiths are coming together to fight liberalism. Like our solders in battle today, we work together, different conservative Faiths, to win this War on Terrorism and elect President Bush. My God Bless our Troops, God Bless America and our President.
