It gets better lol. This is his thread. Just because he doesn't believe NT scripture doesn't assume he doesn't know it. He's ready to go once he gets the "accepting" part down :')

No Cindy if He knew the scriptures he would not have walked away ....as the Rabbi Paul noted

1Cr 1:18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.

1Cr 1:19 For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.

1Cr 1:20 Where [is] the wise? where [is] the scribe? where [is] the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?

1Cr 1:21 For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.

1Cr 1:22 For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom:

1Cr 1:23   But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness;

2Cr 4:3   But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:

1Cr 2:14   But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know [them], because they are spiritually discerned.

If you mean by too impressed that I try to find the good in people and in situations and go from there then I agree. I'm ashamed to admit that I wasn't always like this though.
There is a different in knowing and believing. Mal knows his NT scripture (and knows how to use it when he wants to:')
You do what you can you know. Mack has a hiding place for him and I told him where food was. Did you think we were joking? :') Not much more you can do but get them to promise not to take the mark if they don't make the first cut you know. Everyone on this thread has heard the Word. I would rather them go with us but....

"....as the Rabbi Paul noted..."

As the Rabbi Paul also noted:

1 Corinthians 7:

1] Now concerning the matters about which you wrote. It is well for a man not to touch a woman.

[25] Now concerning the unmarried, I have no command of the Lord, but I give my opinion as one who by the Lord's mercy is trustworthy.
[26] I think that in view of the present distress it is well for a person to remain as he is.
[27] Are you bound to a wife? Do not seek to be free. Are you free from a wife? Do not seek marriage.

[29] I mean, brethren, the appointed time has grown very short; from now on, let those who have wives live as though they had none,

If Rabbi Paul had his way civilization would have died out within one generation.

"You are too easily impressed."
