I get pinged to threads by people all the time. I usually respond with a courtesy reply but if I'm not interested I move on.
So now tell me why you are here? What's the attraction? Not trying to get you to leave. Just wondering.
Why do I hang out here? Because I'm a liberal baptist and am as "bad" (saw the list) ,if not worse, than the rest of these yahoos here:') They are my friends. I belong here. It's my home base.

That may explain why you have repeatedly (and continue to) question my presence on this thread.

I ask nothing more from any poster than common courtesy. If someone wants to ignore my posts or me or my friends, I am affected not in the slightest.

We are all grown-ups and these are just words on a glowing computer screen. They are not God. They are not Christ. They are not food for starving children. Nor are they bullets for brave soldiers, or burning crosses on green lawns or nooses hanging from tree limbs.

These words are, however, examples of human discourse; the free flow of exchanged ideas; the give-and-take of earnest seekers, deceitful charlatans and ignorant rubes alike.

And none should frighten us or cause us to become like that which we despise -- the eternal appeaser.
