Cindy God repeats those things He wants us to know. Now generations have taught that God is omniscient . ( it is pretty hard to believe in prophecy with out believing that) . But I will assume you are correct. Can you give me another scripture where God says He lays aside His foreknowledge?

Did I ever say He did? I said He could if He wanted to. Whether He did or didn't not important to me. His will be done.

Granted,
I don't consider these passages inspired. But since you both believe that Jesus is God, you may find them relevent to your discussion.
Can you give me another scripture where God says He lays aside His foreknowledge?
But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only. (Matthew 24:36)
Can God choose not to be God?
who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped,
but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men.
And being found in human form he humbled himself and became obedient unto death, even death on a cross. (Philemon 2:6-8)
