I don't believe the content of Mel Gibson's movie The Passion of the Christ is anti-Semitic. The question is whether the movie could conceivably be a trigger to acts of violence in areas of the world where anti-Semitism runs high. The fear of this is based on the perception that the Passion Plays of old had that effect.
