A stone written in a language only a backwoods illiterate can decipher through a draped cloth. A belief that the Ten Lost Tribes of Israel settled America and the Native Indians wiped them out. I could go on and on.

If you want to be a Mormon and that makes you happy - fine.
But don't force your beliefs on other people, even dead ones - this "vicarious baptism" rite is the wierdest idea I have ever heard. But then, that's Mormonism!!

Son of God born by a virgin
Killed by Romans as a common criminal
Raised from the dead afterward?

The early leader of this church a smelly fisherman and his brother?

If you want to be a Chrisitan and that makes you happy, fine. But don't force your beliefs on other people. This whole God kills his son for man thing is the weirdest idea I've ever heard, but then, that's Christianity.

Hey, maybe Jews did make it here. That's not beyond belief.

Golden Spectacles brought down to Earth by an angle named Morony to mystically reveal the secrets of the misunderstood bible. Spectacles, that just happened to be loaners, and had to be returned before anyone else could verify the evidence... THAT is a little much.
