Province of East Jawa, 10 October 1996. There were 24 churches altogether destroyed and burned by 3000 people. At this incidents 5 people (Rev. Ishak Christian and his family) were killed as martyrs. They were burned in their house. Those 24 churches are as folows: 7.1. Gereja Bethel Indonesia (GBI) Bukit Sion - burned. 7.2. Gereja Pantekosta di Indonesia (GPdI) - demolished. 7.3.
