You won't believe this but last night my wife and I walked to our local drinking establishment to watch the ballgame last night; even though it's on 95th Street, the owner and quite a few patrons are Cub fans so the environment is not too hostile like a lot of other places on da sout'side.
We left right after the Cubs batted and didn't score in the ninth and were home for the entire tenth inning.
Some time between the tenth and eleventh innings, we both dozed off (perhaps we had one Guinness too many) and woke up just as the Cubbies were celebrating their win.

I had to leave for work at 6 o'clock this morning, but before I did, I checked the FR thread and saw someone's funny Atari-like "Cubs Win" graphic. It was a great way to start the day.
