Dear Free Republic Friends,
My old friend and brother-in-arms BADJOE has promised to warm the cockles of our hearts by publishing an expose (the truth about JimRob and Free Republic according to Joe) on the 18th of this month, which represents the one year anniversary of the date he last posted to FreeRepublic.com and started up with LibertyPost.org.
So, as I believe that only the truth can set you free, and based upon the stratergery of pre-emptive strike, I have a confession to make (before BADJOE makes it public):
I have poisoned the well.
By my sly innuendos behind the scenes.
By my intellectual ineptitude.
By not trusting those that brung me to the dance to bring me home.
By my biting every hand that fed me.
By my arrogance that causes me to think I did it all by myself.
By my stubborness not because of principle, but because of my lack of ability to see what is transpiring.
Evidenced by:
One would think that with half again as many Freepers. with a recovering economy, It would take a great deal less time to raise the necessary funds.
By this time in the June 2002 effort with a goal of $70,000 we had raised $73,000. Not because of who did the fundraising, but because the sense of purpose, of family, of comaraderie, was still present.
BADJOE rang the warning bell, but none heard.
Conclusion:
It is a sad day.
For what was once a great hope, a means of bringing together those who are willing to pay dearly in blood, sweat, and money to save this country, we all love, has been reduced to an asterisk.
So sayeth BADJOE as he promises to publish all this and much more on the 18th. He's been feverishly working on this "project" for one full year. In addition to the "truth about JimRob" BADJOE intends to further betray our trust placed in him by revealing the names of our moderators. And who knows what else?
I can hardly wait.
Is it the 18th yet? Tick, tock.
Try Sudafed. But be careful...it seems that everyone is addicted to *SOMETHING* even if it's just *ODD* ways of posting or weird fonts.

I'd say Joe didn't miss a beat. I've seen every one. Don't like him much, but I don't care if it's Picaso or the three year old down the street with watercolors, a good picture is a good picture.
Hmmm.... I think it still might be edible for Y3K! (If you can call it edible at all LOL)
I think there is some sort of unwritten rule around here that once a thread goes over a couple of thousand posts, the topic is pretty much out the window.
Besides, really, what is at all interesting about Badjoe? He had a spat with JimRob a year or so ago, he lost, and he's been bent on revenge ever since.
Is revenge a conservative value?
The general idea many of us have is that if one vocal group -- an anti-evolution group -- claims to be the exclusive voice of the conservative movement and thus the republican party, well ... there will be consequences.
Well, tell me again what you call those people who think God used evolution - at least in part - as His method for creation? I'm one of those.
Really?

*I* am opus - *BUT* only for a *MINUTE* - or something
That's a rather common view, embracing both religion and the evidence for evolution. It wouldn't be particularly controversial in the evolution threads. Next time we have a hot thread cooking, drop in.
Don't *TELL* me *THIS* crap *HAS* jumped *TO* this *THREAD*..
Couldn't find any poll results on this, but best I recall from what I've seen in the past:
1) A large majority of scientists are theists...
2) But at a lesser percentage than the general population...
3) But at about the same percentage as non-scientists of comparable educational levels.
*GONE* to posting in *BLUE* I see
I was. But I changed my mind.
A woman's perogative, you know.
I'm blue (da ba dee) I'm blue (da ba dee)
I'm blue (da ba dee)
I'm blue (da ba dee)
I have a blue house with a blue window
Blue is the color of all that I wear
Blue are the streets and all the trees are too
I have a girlfriend and she is so blue
Blue are the people here that walk around
Blue like my Corvette it's standing outside
Blue are the words I say and what I think
Blue are the feeling that live inside me
I'm blue (da ba dee)
I'm blue (da ba dee)
I have a blue house with a blue window
Blue is the color of all that I wear
Blue are the streets and all the trees are too
I have a girlfriend and she is so blue
Blue are the people here that walk around
Blue like my Corvette it's standing outside
Blue are the words I say and what I think
Blue are the feeling that live inside me
I'm blue (da ba dee)
I'm blue (da ba dee)
Just blue like him inside and outside
Blue his house with a blue little window
And a blue Corvette and everything is blue for him
And himself and everybody around
'Cause he aint got nobody to listen : ...
I'm blue (da ba dee)
I'm blue (da ba dee)
I'm blue (da ba dee)
I'm blue (da ba dee)
