I said Tom would end up need to learn to love illegal drugs and JOIN the Libertarian party and that his percentage would drop as the voting neared, but he put himself in a position to spoil the race for Republicans and to make himself hated by a vast group of people who would have once voted for him in another election.

I disagree with you here. I don't hate Tom McClintock. I like the guy. Just don't see him as a strong executive. That's all.

I also don't think he will leave, or be asked to leave, the party.

So let’s get this straight then. Tom is supposed to sell out his principles for the promise of support further down the line? You called him scum and you’ve yet to retract that so is that still your opinion of him?

PS: As for the drugs remark you seem to have no problem with supporting the murder of an unborn child but let some poor guy grow some weed in his window box, have a toot and ring dominos and you’re all for throwing away the key.
