California Democrat Party state spokesman Bob Mulholland said his party is giving Arnold Schwarzenegger just 100 days before a new recall effort may be launched. Mulholland made his threat on Fox News Tuesday night after polls closed and major press outlets declared Arnold Schwarzenegger the winner.
On Tuesday, Gray Davis declined to refute reports that he may back a new recall effort against Schwarzenegger.
Already press reports indicate that Democrats have $3 million prepared for a new recall effort.
Also, Hollywood billionaire Stephen Bing has promised to finance any Democratic-backed recall effort.

They truly have gone completely psychotic. It's embarrassing to even think of. It's so amazing that they have not a particle of shame or decency. I bet a lot of them are having tantrums - screaming, banging their feet and hands on the floor, holding their breath and turning blue. Yup, now that they're backed into a corner their true colors are showing--power-hungry opportunists that don't care about good government, just the acquisition of power and the misuse of it thereafter.
I say let them have their temper tantrum, let the country see what the dems are really about. Let's hope the saying, "So goes California, so goes the country" plays out.

Just relocate to the USA.

"Insanity is doing the same thing, over and over, expecting different results."
Actually, it could be argued that it is not. This is a variant on the theme of those who forget the mistakes of the past are doomed to repeat them. Therefore, this is unfortunately average or normal human behavior when applied to Democrats.

I totally agree. They just don't get it, do they?
To: blam
They won't get enough signatures on a recall petition. I agree. The dynamics are totally different now.

Feel free to tie up countless millions on a failed re-recall attempt. In fact, I would take all the democratic money and sink it into these bitter grapes.

I hope this is true; I love seeing the Dims P their money away.

"Hillary has GOT to have noticed. Don't expect her to run in 2004. Expect her in 2008 when the demographics have improved."
- Hillary can't win without Kalifornia.
- Hillary could face Rudy in NY in 2006.
- Hillary can't win in 2008 if she loses NY in 2006.
- The attacks on Rush were almost certainly coordinated to discredit the most effective campaign weapon of Republicans and the right.
- The attacks on Rush were almost certainly coordinated to stifle the most effective Clinton critic.
- Rush has speculated several times about running for the Whitehouse himself. If the markets were to crash and the economy to crater, Rush might be the only Republican who could take the Republican nomination away from Bush and still beat Hillary.
I'd say the odds are favoring 2004, but only time will tell.

We always knew the Dems weren't serious when they argued the recall would cost too much money. This proves it. But, as Ann Coulter would say, how many times do they need to be kicked in the head before they wake up and pay attention to what voters want? Way to go, California!

dumocrats = dead money and polarization...there must clintoncide in the eyes of dumocrat state relection chiefs nationwide today...why in the world would the dums think that they could mount a recall in less than 3 years with the popular support shown towards arnie, no matter how much crap was slung at him...think about it the dem gov of the most populous state was overthrown by an austrian body builder with 0 political experience...new dem chant - we can't lead - we can't follow - all of our candidates are shallow...

Hillary WILL face Rudy in 2006, that's why she has to run in 2004.

California can not necessarily be seen as taking a step in the "right" directionI disagree. Although, I wanted to see a conservative like McClintock win, I will take Arnold over Gray Davis any day (The repeal of the driver's license to illegal immigrants is worth the election alone).I think we need to take a page out of the Democrat play book (even though it is old and worn out), and look at this as an incremental step. If Arnold does well in California, we might see more of a willingness to accept a McClintock in the future.

See, there's another angle: California is considered a solid liberal Dem state now. And Bill Clinton went there to advise Davis. Every note of Clinton's song fell flat. Hillary has GOT to have noticed. Don't expect her to run in 2004. Expect her in 2008 when the demographics have improvedRemember also that Gray Davis was the only candidate that Bill & Hill campaigned for in '02 that won (I believe the other D's that won refused Clinton's help). Their only victory lasted less than a year and he was tossed out. Sooner or later the Dems have got to wake up to the fact that the Clintons are no longer good for their party (not that I'm in any hurry for them to figure it out).

Notice how QUIET Bill Clinton has been lately? Do you think Barbra Streisand is having a nervous breakdown as we speak?
