California Democrat Party state spokesman Bob Mulholland said his party is giving Arnold Schwarzenegger just 100 days before a new recall effort may be launched. Mulholland made his threat on Fox News Tuesday night after polls closed and major press outlets declared Arnold Schwarzenegger the winner.
On Tuesday, Gray Davis declined to refute reports that he may back a new recall effort against Schwarzenegger.
Already press reports indicate that Democrats have $3 million prepared for a new recall effort.
Also, Hollywood billionaire Stephen Bing has promised to finance any Democratic-backed recall effort.

The "politicians" in all the states just got a wake up call. Prop 13 showed the residents of other states that property taxes could (and should be) brought down. California has shown the other states that when the state gov't becomes corrupted by the power to tax and squander the efforts of the members of the state they can be removed.

The Dems' mud-slinging BACKFIRED big time, and they know better than to repeat that. You would think so, but we are talking about the Dims here.

If you then factor in a possible terror attack on US soil, all bets are off. I do believe in the Supreme Being, and that ultimately everything will turn out for the best. However, ultimately could be in a long time.
But - I just love to see liberals go crazy with anguish and rage! It's so calming and soothing, almost like a massage or soak in a hot bath.
To: kattracks
Let the. It's a self destructive policy in which they're attempting to delve into.

Good point!
I had forgotten that the threshold is previous-election dependent, not population dependent.

The Democrats seem committed to proving that they are the vindictive, mean-spirited party that they accuse the Republicans of being! In their rush to get revenge they will merely demonstrate to the voters of CA and the nation that they are a childish, arrogant, undemocratic, power hungry lot and that the voters were absolutely right!
The voters of this Democratic state have told the Democrats that they have failed miserably, that Davis deserves the heave-ho, and that fund-raising irregularities and last minute smear jobs are no longer acceptable politics.
Rather than accepting this recall for the chastening it is, the arrogant Democratic big-wigs like Mulholland are going to disrespect and rebuke the electorate by pursuing a 2nd recall. I say "Go for it" you hypocritical idiots and reaffirm the voter's perception that the CA Democratic party has gone over the edge.
How sweet it is!

"They're going to overplay their hand here just like they did at the Funerally in Minnesota in 2002 and the Lost Angeles Times Sleaze Offensive of 2003."
Insanity is doing the same thing, over and over, expecting different results. Currently dems are following an insane course.
Hopefully they will continue, giving conservatism further gains.
To: kattracks
Right - they think the voters of CA are p!ssed now - wait until they pull that crap.

Insanity is doing the same thing, over and over, expecting different results. Currently dems are following an insane course.I disagree TS, It's not insanity, it's a lack of agenda, and the "drone" of their talking points that kept them going isn't working anymore and they are at a loss because of it. Now they are going to have to create an agenda that is appealing to the public! To their demise THAT agenda has already been taken by the Republican party and the Dem's just don't know what to do!! : ) : ) : )
