[history]
McKEESPORT, Pa. (AP) - A man who police say posed as a doctor and castrated a transgendered woman at her request was ordered Monday to stand trial for aggravated assault. Doug Lenhart, 48, also is charged with reckless endangerment and unauthorized practice of medicine and surgery. No trial date was set, and Lenhart was free on $25,000 bond.

"I don't want him to do this again..." I don't think you have mulligans when it comes to castration...

Watson said she was awake throughout the procedure and in "horrible pain." Probably an understatement...

They make a device for this. A very strong rubber band that goes around the testicles pinching off blood supply. Eventually the parts just shrivel up and fall away.

And these sick, sick weirdos want out kids to believe their "lifestyle" (deathstyle is more like it) is perfectly normal and 100% acceptable.

She became transgendered when she was 6????? Come on. And isn't this headline a bit misleading? Sounds like between the soup and the salad he lopped her dick off.

I think it should be thrown out of court, since it's impossible to castrate a woman!

Sounds also like the media is taken sides. The Victim (sic) is obviously a "he" not a "she".

Don't they sell rubber bands in California?

His attorney, James Wymard, said Lenhart had "some experience in this area" and said he felt Lenhart was qualified to perform the procedure. It always amazes me that there seems to be a never-ending supply of attorneys who will say things like this with a straight face.
