That's the nice thing... the GOP has two candidates to celebrate if they win. Either way, McClintock gains great influence.

Amazingly, the unthinkable appears to be helping. He's pushing the Yes on recall over the top.
I thought he'd sink himself on this one for sure, but he just might end up taking on CA's senate seat.

I'm sure that McClintock will be a good bet for the Senate next time 'round.I don't think so. He was not a Team Republican and seemed only interested in his own candidacy. Even the Lone Ranger needed Tonto. He had a chance to help and did not lift a finger. His supporters did though. Many of them seemed to have voted for Arnold and I thank them for putting the interests of California first over idealogical purity and certain defeat.
