That's the nice thing... the GOP has two candidates to celebrate if they win. Either way, McClintock gains great influence.

I'm sure that McClintock will be a good bet for the Senate next time 'round.

Amazingly, the unthinkable appears to be helping. He's pushing the Yes on recall over the top.

I thought he'd sink himself on this one for sure, but he just might end up taking on CA's senate seat.

I don't think so. He was not a Team Republican and seemed only interested in his own candidacy. Even the Lone Ranger needed Tonto. He had a chance to help and did not lift a finger. His supporters did though. Many of them seemed to have voted for Arnold and I thank them for putting the interests of California first over idealogical purity and certain defeat.
