"and the recall itself, maybe 6 million."
Estimates are now at 10 Million. As heard on Jon & Ken about 40 min. ago.

You are so right about the LA Times smear fest. Being from Minnesota, I remember clearly the results after the Wellstone FuneRally. I seriously doubt though, that they will learn a lesson from this. People are sick of the politics of personal destruction.
One item the polls didn't take into effect is the Jesse factor. Here in Minnesota the polls were running Humphrey 1st, Coleman 2nd and Jesse Ventura 3rd. The big liberal media outlets here even sent their most senior political reporters to Humphrey's campaign HQ for the post election celebration. Too bad for them they came in 3rd LOL!
None of the polls took into effect the first time young voters who came out in droves for Ventura. I suspect the same thing is true in California this time around.

LOL, Kelly O'Donnel on MSNBC reporting that Gray Davis has been praying to St. Jude, the patron saint of lost causes. Then goes on to say that listeners shouldn't read too much into that.Damn, now I'm really mad!

Why thank you for your kind comments Dog. Actually, I told Jim Robinson this would happen a week ago. The mood of the people is nothing short of anger and contempt for Davis and the leftist, and today proves just that.
This is historical and IMHO its just the beginning of the fight for America. Enough of these leftist, freedom hating communist. Gray Davis is one of the most leftist liberal AHs in America, and as he leaves in total disgrace, it is cause to celebrate.....
When Gray Davis is dragged out of the governors office, I wont miss it.

Is there going to be a pool on how soon the 'Rats file their first lawsuit? First lawsuit to keep the vote machine open late, or first lawsuit to try to prevent Arnold's win? The former will be filed at 6:45 pm PDT today, and the latter will be filed at 8:01 pm PDT today.

Prop 54 would make it illegal for the state to collect race information, except for medical and other relevant purposes. E.g., race not a check box for loan applications, admission to schools, etc.
