Funny, Rush was just remarking thsi morning on how all the hollywood types who had made millions off Arnold haven't stood up to support him.... Now I see they are sneaking around to destroy him. Very rat-like, is it not?

[Drudge] seems bound and determined to prove himself right on Arnold.I think he's tiring, too.....but, really....what IS the difference between these claims against his character and the warnings given by Drudge etal on Clinton???
Didn't the content of his character eventually lead to him lying under oath?

Personally, I think there might be a political realignment in the works soon. How a lot of things shake out aren't clear yet, but it seems that both major parties are headed for big-time crack-ups.
I don't think either major party is going to be able to hold their coalition together much longer. That should be interesting to watch, IMHO.

Frankly, after being told over and over that I don't belong on this site, it can't come soon enough for me.

Drudge has now resorted to running unconfirmed emails as screaming siren headlines?
Drudge? Rumor is that he is a queer. I can't prove that though. But I sure have heard it a lot. But I can't prove he is a queer. But I have heard it more than once. But it might not be true that Drudge is a queer. /sarcasm off

Hollywood is against him.... I am all for Arnold Hollywood is not against him. Some are, sure.
But his candidacy being embraced by Hollywood liberals and Kennedy leftists contibutes to my not voting for him.

As an aside, this was posted on "The Corner" on National Review Online earlier today:ARNOLD, BY DOUBLE DIGITS [Peter Robinson]
Spent a piece of the weekend exchanging emails and telephone calls with friends, including a couple of political scientists and a couple of people close to campaign staffs. (Yes, I know. I could use a wider circle of friends.) Here's the way it seems to size up:
1. Gray Davis will be recalled from office by a margin that will fall in the high single digits at the very least-and maybe by as much as 20 points.
2. Arnold will win big, probably by a margin in the double digits, since
a. None of the groping charges has moved Schwarzenegger's numbers
b. The undecided vote, which as recently as a week ago still amounted to some 23 percent, appears to be breaking Schwarzenegger's way. In the words of my Hoover colleagues David Brady and Morris Fiorina, who have been conducting polls throughout the recall, "[Our] survey team concluded that undecided voters gravitate to the most visible candidate - the candidate with name recognition." The candidate with name recognition is, of course, Der Arnold.
c. McClintock's supporters appear to be drifting from McClintock to Schwarzenegger. When it comes right down to it, evidently, a lot of people would prefer to vote for the winner. McClintock's support, which peaked at about 18 percent last week, has fallen to about 14 percent. (I wipe a tear from my eye as I report this.)

Arnold's critics are in a frenzy, and considering who they are and the type of sleeze they're peddling right down to the wire shows how frightened they are at losing power. This excessive piling on would make me vote for him (if I were in California). There comes a time...and this is it...when they've crossed the line.
To: TexKat
"Democrat women love Arnold" This is supposed to make conservatives support him?
Democrat women seem to know a liberal when they see one more than a lot of conservatives.
To: AmericanInTokyo
Wonder how it feels as a Social Conservative who crossed enemy lines into RINO terroritory, only to be left holding a tattered bag of defective libertine goods the night before the election??? That's an absurd statement. Do you think Davis or Bustamante will be better ?
Your puritannical zeal is diplacing rational thought. Don't let the perfect be the enemy of the good.

There comes a time...and this is it...when they've crossed the line.Or, to quote the Irish poet Sean O'Casey's observations of the 1916 Easter Rebellion:
"They're smashing out all of the windows of the post office, showering broken glass down on the passers-by. That's...that's hooliganism. That's going beyond the beyonds."

The executive producer of Arnold Schwarzenegger's recent film COLLATERAL DAMAGE is warning colleagues in a purported email: "Please be sure to vote NO on the recall. I know Arnold personally. He is in no way qualified to govern anybody or anything. That's opinion!
Gray Davis is not qualified to govern...
That's fact!

Help yourself to these, my friend Maynerd. Sleep well tonight. And tomorrow night, too. Sleep unencumbered and in good conscience. Good luck.
Take solace in these unchanging truths, in the dawn after the Evening of Your Ultimate Betrayal by moderate centrists using conservatives temporarily to support a social libertine who will continue the process just as expected:
"Consistency is the foundation of virtue." -- Francis Bacon "Look to make your course regular, that men may know beforehand what they may expect." -- Francis Bacon "Consistency, madam, is the first of Christian duties." -- Charlotte Bronte "My goal in sailing isn't to be brilliant or flashy in individual races, just to be consistent over the long run." -- Dennis Conner "A consistent man believes in destiny, a capricious man in chance." -- Benjamin Disraeli "Let your character be kept up the very end, just as it began, and so be consistent." -- Horace "A people that values its privileges above its principles soon loses both." - Dwight David Eisenhower "Honor is like an island, rugged and without shores; we can never re-enter it once we are on the outside." [Fr., L'honneur est comme une ile escarpee et sans bords; On n'y peut plus rentrer des qu'on en est dehors.] - Nicolas Boileau-Despreaux

It is pathetic. Drudge is unraveling. Certainly Davis is not up to the job -- he has proven it.
