I turned Drudge off tonight after about one hour for the first time since he started his Sunday night program, couldn't stand the whine aspect.

I also caught his website with 'out-of'date' info this week on one of the Arnold hit stories.

Like the California three strikes rule, one more foul-up and I'm done with listening on Sunday and visiting Drudge's site!

That's not to say that any of the other major media was any 'swifter'.

If the governator wins, Drudge is going to have lots of material for a long time!

Well, come what may, at least, next week we poor forlorn conservatives in California will have a new governor.

How come Jill Stewart "sat on" these allegations about Davis until now?

Jill wrote about it for the first time in 1997.

Hm. Gosh. Really?

Okay so if she knew about Davis for at least six years, why didn't she start hollering about it two months ago? She's been on the radio once a week, Saturdays, 5 o'clock p.m. Annoying bad radio voice & all. She's been on TV, interviewed on FNC. I'm sure others. In all this time she forgot that Davis was so violent and obscene?

The story has been out there. I knew about it. You seem angry with her when it was the LA Times that spiked the story.

The LA Times has nothing to do with her story. She was interviewed this morning. She said she wrote it in 1997 for a now-defunct paper and forgot about it, til some bloggers started circulating and whispering about the allegations, and it came to her attention on Wednesday or Thursday of last week. Suddenly, [smack forehead], golly! that's right! Davis is a serial workplace harrasser!

You buy that?

Are you saying she didn't write the story in 1997?

Are you saying she didn't talk about the story on the Larry Elder show in 1997?

Are you saying the LA Times didn't spike their story?

What is your problem with Jill? She happens to be one of the few honest reporters in LA. I'm sorry her voice annoys you.

Of course she wrote it, I gave you the URL for the original piece last night.

What she said this morning is that she wrote it for the New Times L.A. Not the L.A. Times. I don't know what she talked about in 1997. She has been saying nothing about these allegations during this recall election, until last week. Not that I've heard, and I've been listening to a hell of a lot of KFI.

That is my question. I don't have a problem with Jill. I don't even know her. I just have that question. It's a simple question and might not even be of any consequence. It just seems odd to me.

I wasn't until last week. Guess I'm just not paying attention.

Bill Handel is on KFI right now hosting an election special. He just announced he'll be interviewing Jill Stewart shortly.
