Afternoon prayer bump.

Holding all of our brave men and women in thought and prayer this afterneeon. I pray that each of them feels ,in their hearts, the pride we have for the job they are doing.

I pray they understand that we hope for their safe return, and that their absence here in the states does not mean they have been forgotten.

"Please add PFC Seth Grubb, 82nd Airborne, serving in Iraq. He's the soldier I picked to send a box a month to from the "Adopt-A-Unit" program. May the Good Lord comfort and guide all the soldier whose names are being posted on these threads. In Jesus' Name. Amen"

Amen to your heartfelt prayer.

We are very pleased to add PFC Seth Grubb of the 82nd Airborne in Iraq to our prayer list. Thank you for adopting his unit and sending these fine soldiers your tangible support. Please convey to him and his buddies our deep appreciation for their service.

Beloved Heavenly Father,

We place before you your servant PFC Seth Grubb of the 82nd Airborne. Father, enfold this young man and his buddies with an invincible wall of light. Wrap them with the swaddling garments we have been calling "prayer blankets", woven of your purest light and love and our prayers and support for them. Father, assign teams of angels to each one and let them have the grace of extraordinary courage, wisdom, power, and your protection to do their jobs. Bring them home to us safe and victorious.

Surround their families and loved ones with faith, hope, joy, and peace during this time of separation. Grant all our military families the support networks which the need of the hour dictates. Let there appear friends on their doorstep, ready to lend a helping hand to struggling mothers and fathers, children feeling the hole that separation from a parent can cause. Let there be teams of angels assigned to these families who are sacrificing so much for all of us.

Father, we ask you to guide us as we ask ourselves daily, "What small or large thing is within my power to do to give support to our military? What extra prayer time, or volunteer work, or care package would you have me commit to?" Father, we are your children, and we know that we are also intended to be your hands and feet. Guide us each one as we listen in our quietest moments for the Word you have for us individually. We are grateful that you are our Father, and that you hear us and do not give us stones when we are in need of bread.

Let our prayers be adjusted according to thy Will, for thy Will is Good.

Amen

Thank you for your afternoon prayer in your post 447, NMGA! You are welcome for the thread. Thank you so much for the kind words. However, all glory for the good stuff belongs to our Father. He is the All in All.

"May God see it wise to protect our men and women who are in service to allow others their God given freedoms to be a reality.

My special prayers this afternoon for all of the children who have lost a parent in this war. I pray God will hold those little ones close, and make known his comfort to them. "

Amen, No More Gore Anymore, amen.

We are delighted to add you to our ping list. Thanks so much for your and your Prayer Warriors' willingness to support our troops with prayer. All of you are so welcome. It feels like the Marines are coming over the hill along with their friends in the Airforce and Navy and Coast Guard and Army! How awesome it is to see the Lord bringing such staunch reinforcements. God bless you.

You are welcome, Friend. Thank you once more for the kind words you are so gracious to send my way so often. The sacrifice on my part is very small, believe me. Our magnificent military and their allies, and their support personnel in the different contractors and civilians working with them, all the families of those serving, and the presence of our staunch Prayer Warriors are a constant inspiration to me. By God's grace, all of our work together, both physically and spiritually is what will turn the tide in this war. The Lord will notice how we are all working together, and we shall all share in the blessed fruit of that!

"TEXOKIE,This is hard,Karen is there and for some reason I am feeling it more,it is hard and I pray with and for all of us united for our loved ones. "

Bless your heart, Ms 'Tima. Hugs to you. I can understand your concerns. May God bless you and your family and grant you faith and peace while you wait.

Blessed Gracious Loving FAther,

We bow our heads together and hold hands and raise our friend known to us as fatima and her Karen onto your altar. Father, bless and keep Karen in safety while she is serving the Holy Cause of Freedom. Grant her those angels and blessings of courage, wisdom, and your protection to do her missions. Keep her safe and secure. Bring her home victorious. Let this be done for all of our precious loved ones serving in those dangerous situations which serve this nation and her interests.

Father, we call forth a special touch of comfort from your hand into the heart of our friend fatima as she waits the return of her Karen. Father, grant fatima and all who wait anxiously, the ability to eschew the traps and projections of fear which the dark forces visit upon those who serve your Light. Grant her the peace and faith which allows her to place those fears into your hands. Grant her comfort and joy along with the certitude that all is well. Fear is paralyzing and we affirm that we do not wish to have any part of it! Father, Fear is not of your essence, so therefore, we do not wish to indulge in it. FAther, help us to examine our concerns and talk them over with you without entering into that temptation of moving into Fear. Father, it has been said by a previous war time President, "we have nothing to fear but Fear itself." Help us, Father to embody that courage and grace of heart which allows us to face those fears and stare them down because you, our Heavenly Parent are in charge and are staring them down with us! Let all who are consumed with Fear be granted freedom from it by thy Grace.

Father, take our words and meditations in our hearts, and let them be acceptable unto you. You are our strength and our Redeemer.

amen
