Do you mean he does not have freedom of speech - only blacks and libs do?
It amazes me - we are to accept NAMBLA and man-child sex, we are to accept the murder of infants just before they are born, we are to accept absolute amoral trash for entertainment, we are to accept leaders that lie, cheat, and harm our country - yet, we are not ALLOWED TO SAY ANYTHING ABOUT A BLACK PERSON'S ABILITIES, THEIR STATUS IN COMPARISON TO OTHERS OR THE FACT THAT THEY HAVE THE POSITION THEY DO BECAUSE THEY USED THEIR RACE TO GET THAT POSITION.
Give me a break. I thought they wanted equality. Equality means being treated the same as others - not better than others.
Sure amazes me how easily many give up the freedom of speech that was won by the lives of soldiers dying to pay for it.
Freedom of Speech is a worthy ideal, but it will never catch on and, in fact, we are steadily moving further away from that ideal. It has been negated by other laws of the land.
Saying what you believe can get you in hot water, can inhibit your career potential, can get you ostracised, can get you fired, can get you sued, can get you labeled as a bigot / hater / intolerant / homophobe / etc, can lose you an election, can scar you for life, can turn you into a "person of interest," can get you dead,......and...it's all legal. (The "dead" part may not be legal, but it's real.)
Ask Rush or Rick Santorum if you don't believe me.
I think if Rush wanted to, he could sue ESPN for forcing him out on the basis of his race. He could claim that he was discriminated against for not being a black commentator saying a white QB was overrated by the media for being white. Sure, he'd probably lose, but he might raise awareness of the free speech issues, as well as the ridiculousness of parsing Rush's words to fit a fair-minded guy into a racist hole.
Of course, Rush probably has too much class (and pride) to go that route. It would be fun to watch, though.
