I think I'm going to cry. I really wish Rush would have hung in there. I think most people would have been behind him.

It sounds like you think he had a choice?

Perhaps ESPN gave him no other option, or other good option. This is just too bad, as he did not mean this in a racist way of course, just should never mention things like this nowdays unless you are from the left., then it is just fine and dandy.

I'm not going to cry over this. I'm going to get even madder- because what everyone seems to be missing is that there is an assault on conservatives/Republicans in this country! Was Dusty Baker asked to resign because of his comments? No. Was Trent Lott? Yes. How many other good conservatives have to be victims of liberal bias in this country?

For the love of God, this pisses me off beyond belief! It's another example of conservatives rolling over and taking it up the arse. When are we going to stand up to this crap and point out the hypocrisy over, and over, and over again!

Rush, I don’t always agree with you, but I wish you would have stuck to your guns. You have let the liberal hounds beat you. And don’t be surprised if your talk show is next. That wound you’ve opened is just going to attract more buzzards.

As for everyone else here, let me remind you:

If you don’t stand for something, you’ll fall for anything,

Not really. He was wrong to touch the race issue and he was even wrong on his analysis which makes him look racist.

McNab is been promoted, but only because he is a high profile name, not because he is black. The NFL would also like to promote Tim Couch over Kelly Holcomb (both white qb's at cleveland) because Couch is a bigger name. In McNabb's case, the NFL wanted a big name. It's called the star system. The NFL does not care about steve McNair even though he is black, because McNair is not a big name.

If you take on a touchy issue like race, you need to be absolutely right, and here he was dead wrong.
