He's turned in Dustin Hoffman in Rain Man.Tommy, can't you feel that fork yet? Oh yeah, he's really the better man, isn't he, demonstrating such grace under pressure.
To: Chancellor Palpatine
Re#11 I heard it too. Tom was dumbfounded when Sean asked why the high approval ratings did not equal more votes. Sean should have said--do you think it is because you have not been attacked by the presstitutes at all so as to take GOP votes from the frontrunner?

Quit bitching. We're all here to bitch...are we not?
Be it a slam on liberal policies or a promotion of conservative values...it's a form of bitching.
Think about it.

It was very generous of Issa to spend his money in the recall, but I wouldn't trust him. None of these witnesses to McClintocks supposed spoiler comment have no evidence other than what they say he said.
To: MattGarrett
"stay in the race to play spoiler" Technically, he's OK. He may be staying in the race, but he isn't going to be a spoiler. Arnold will win with him in or out -- no matter. (But, ironically, McClintock's votes could help Part 1 pass, or pass more easily).
So while that may not be the "spirit" of what he claimed, he does get a ride on a technicality.
To: MattGarrett
If McClintock drops out now it could be 15% of the recall vote that doesn't vote at all !
To: novacation
I've yet to hear Mcclintock deny he said that to Issa...have you?

Oh puhlease, Issa has been a man of honor through this entire recall-election fiasco. To say you don't trust him is simply ABSURD.

We're all here to bitch...are we not? Not about the management of the site. People sound like the dorks on LP when they do so. This sort of bitching happens amongst McClintock people as well.

He'll keep both promises, if he actually made the other one--he won't be a spoiler.
To: South40
That was a very funny cartoon in #24 BTW. :-)

If so, then they're not Republicans in any sense of the word.

Hypothetical question:
Tom Daschle (R) vs. Hillary Clinton (D) for president.
How many freepers would support Daschle and attack those not voting for him? I'd say about 50%.
