No, he is not.
He made an observation / opinion about an issue in the NFL that has been simmering for the last several years. Every so often, it gets moved to the front burner, then goes back to simmer status.
This was not a Howard Cossell / Jimmy the Greek type comment in any manner, shape or form.
There is no issue, IMHO, with what Rush said.
Of course, there are lots of folks that will play the race card on this.
Nothing new about that.

For sure and the 'racist log' sits in their own eye. . .and they are more than happy to go after Rush on this.
But no matter how hard they try; they will not be able to come up with a 'racist' Rush. Because he simply is not. He is honest, however.
Rush has expressed controversial opinions before. Once I was amazed how he attacked my rather conservative religion. I thought he was totally wrong. But I just shrugged it off. This is what is so great about the USA. Unlike people in some Muslim countries, we are free to express our opinions.
