Are there enough willing married couples to adopt all the orphans in this world?

While it is not an ideal solution, I would much rather have these children raised in a home where they are loved and wanted than left in the foster system of this country or any other.

WRong! You bought their argument hook line and sinker. They are using these poor children as props to advance their sickening agenda. They are selfish homos and care about the cause more then the kids. Don't fall for that argument...of course we want children to be in a loving home, who wouldn't.

I hate to see what these kids bring in for show and tell.

The answer is that there ARE enough willing couples. The ordeal couples go through to adopt is amazing. It can take 10-15 years, cost tens of thousands of dollars, and the state governments put obstacle after obstacle in their way. In some states, you have to go through multiple legal background checks and medical checks. In some states, you have to go through special liberal training, depending on the route you choose for adoption.

I used to attend an adoption support group in Charlotte. There were hundreds of couples attending, trying desperately to adopt. Many of them had been through multiple failed adoptions, where they had the baby in their home and then the govt came and took the baby away. I sat up all night with a dear couple who lost their baby that way. The husband was particularly devestated.
