That's not the issue. The issue is what you have abandoned along the way to reach that goal. No, the issue is losing. Why run a campaign that is a sure loser? Is it for martyrdom? People aren't registering to vote for the first time because McClintock is energizing them. Tom isn't drawing crowds of 1000s daily. There is no hope for his campaign and all votes for him are wasted. Is it to teach the GOP a lesson? If so, why is McClintock associated with the GOP in the first place?
