You're damn right I'd support Stalin were he a Republican running against Hitler the Democrat.

You're damn right I'd support Stalin were he a Republican running against Hitler the Democrat. I'd go for a third party candidate.
To: NittanyLion
And possibly let Hitler win?
At least Stalin was simple in his brutality. He had a saying which went like this:
"A person, a problem. No person, no problem."
To: republicanwizard
And possibly let Hitler win? Is that a serious question?

You sound like a Democrat whining about the "MEEEEEAAAAAAANNNN Republican". Friend it's not the AS folks spouting "country-club" republican democrat swill.
To: ladyinred
I was satirizing Baghdad Bob's style.

I seem to recall a certain song from the 1980s... it went something like "Glad I'm not a Kennedy"... (including by marriage!....)

Country Club wing of the GOP = a herd cowering and retreating from the Gramscian advance. Middle of the road = run over from both directions.....

The doped out boomer generation RINOs can't stand the fact that their day is nearly over. No offense if you happen to be of that generation, I am writing in generalities. It seems that the whole Liberal Republican thing is based on a set of beliefs that is very pro business, but socially liberal and internationalist / globalist. 3rd way all the way. Bloody fertile reactionaries like me... we are still kept down, but not for much longer. We are chomping at the bit to run the show on the Right.... the TRUE Right!

So what's there to lose by running a Rightist rather than a RINO... other than RINO orthodoxy?

Indeed they have. There is an agenda at work. It's called the 3rd way... it is evil.

"Country Club wing of the GOP"= the rhetoric of mentally constipated losers that sit in their double-wides raging against their betters.
To: DoughtyOne
I am a golfer and I will vote for Tom. The phrase "country club Republicans" has nothing to do with Country Clubbing and everything to do with core beliefs.

"You're damn right I'd support Stalin were he a Republican running against Hitler the Democrat."
What a truly bizarre descent into madness this thread has become.
By the way, Mao was the greatest butcher of the 20th century, Stalin takes 2nd place. Hitler may be the third, depending upon who is to blame for the atrocities of the Japanese empire of the 30s and 40s.

There is a difference between class warfare, and, pointing out how economism is not true Right conservatism. This has nothing to do with economic strata and everything to do with ideology. See my tag line for further reference....

I formally declare, here and now, my plan to conduct a slow burn, hard Rightist putsch, through the mass of the GOP. RINOs will lose.
