I got an email about this from Rock The Vote encouraging people to support it. That tells me I should definitely be against it before even knowing details. LOL If you go to the IWFR website, you can view a flyer where they are trying to get Unions legalized for "immigrants" saying that "immigrants" frequently get threatened by employers saying they will call INS if they try to form a union and they think they have a right to form one anyway. The way it sounds, they want unions for illegals.

Senator Dennis Hollingsworth of the Republican Legislative Caucus
Dick Montjoy, past Assemblyman and State Senator or his son, currently an Assemblyman. I assume that he will be promoting the same petition that CRA is going to circulate, Dick is a member of CRA (or was) and I assume that his son is also. They are both rock solid conservatives.

God Bless You EW! My talking points:
* The Constitution of the United States
Article IV, Section. 4.
The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence.
Stop I.D. cards that give illegal immigrants the privileges of citizenship.
STOP letting Mexican government officials pass out illegal I.D. cards to illegal immigrants.(Matricular Consular Cards)
Fix our border, fix the problem, and quit making excuses, Washington.
These cards really nothing more than a get-out-of-jail-free card for illegal immigrants?
(two million of them)
NO Amnesty in Congress (5 mil)
If you agree you agree with Congressman Tancredo the one way to stop the flood of illegal immigrants would be by sending troops to the U.S. border, instead of passing out these I.D. cards to illegals
Come in LEGALLY thru immigration!
Please co-sponsor and support this effort to protect our security and the integrity of our ballot boxes - re: any bills regarding this issue that pass their desks!
Congress should deny any federal funds to cities which have so-called "Sanctuary Ordinances". These ordinaces forbid police officers from inquiring about a suspect's immigration status. If police officers do discover that a suspect is an illegal, the ordinance prevents local law enforcement from informing the INS about the suspect. "Sanctuary Ordinances" undermine our Federal immigration laws.
I'll use them, different ones to break the boredom ;)

Excellent points, JP! I'll borrow them tomorrow! So much info...so little time. LOL It's really difficult to pick out just a few!
The 800 nos work. The WhiteHouse comment line is only M-F, 9-5. Cornyn doesn't allow you to leave a message, so I'll just have to call him on my lunch hour! He has an amnesty bill before the Senate.
Now I REALLY have to get some sleep. We're having a Halloween block party here so in between phone calls, I was dealing with meetings for that! LOL I didn't get as many called as I would have liked. But I made myself a promise to keep at the list. I'll call the entire Senate and House...it might take awhile, but they'll hear from me if I have to be up Christmas Eve dialing! :0)
