Buyer's market. Arnie doesn't need him anymore, and the price is going down with each passing day.

When the PTBs of the GOP sit down, put together the math and realize "we can do it without the hardcore right anymore", the previous influence wielded will diminish drastically for certain politicians, voting blocs, organizations and pundits.

And all of them can point to McQuixote and say "thanks a lot, pal".

Assuming that Schwarzenegger can win with McClintock in the race, what percetage of the vote will Arnold get?

I think the one point that is missing from the discusssion is that it looks like Arnold is going to get some cross-over votes from the younger crowd, the college-age first time voter. Those usually go to the RATs, the farther left the better. In this case, many are impressed with the "Terminator" character (even though its fictional). I think Arnold will win (assuming Davis is recalled) even if Tom stays in.
