I just got home from another one of those fun, fun days. Can you give me your candid judgment about the debate, and what the fallout will be? How did Arnold hold up, and how did he manage with specifics? Thanks.

McClintock won on substance going away and came across as a serious man though not terribly dynamic.

Arnold has what it takes to get elected, charisma not gravitas, and proved to me that he is smart enough to get elected. I have my doubts on what he will do once elected but he erased the doubts I had about his capability. Light on specifics but enough to impress the average viewer.

Camejo, though a commie, is a smart guy and presents his case well but needless to say I'll never be buying what he's selling.

Cruz Bustamente came across like Dubya's Dad in his re-elect beating by Klink, allof, unengaged and above it all. He didn't help himself but his "We Spent Too Much" comment sealed the deal on Gray being dumped IMHO.

Arianna was a joke and should nopt have been on the dais.

Conclusions:

McClintock is in it to win it and isn't getting out but he was soft on AS last night, he had opportunities to rip him and he passed them by. Perhaps a republican that takes RR entreaties about other republicans to heart?

Cruz ain't gonna beat AS, McClintock or no McClintock.
