LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Barbra Streisand says she finds listening to her own songs is so boring that it was one of the reasons she gave up public performing three years ago.

Maybe next Babs will listen to herself talk and give that up for the same reason.

Barbara was an outstanding performer, she could hold her own with anyone. If you doubt this just watch "Hello Dolly". I think she was justs great. I was one of her first fans and still like some of her stuffe. " Second Hand Rose" but her politics. This is still the U.S. and everyone can have an opinion... Thank God.

Great voice. Just can't stand her politics.-

I would like to hear her sing some of the old standards of broadway. It's hard to get bored with West Side Story, How to Succeed in Business, and Guys and Dolls.

True, but I find I don't go totally over the edge until that last note that never, never, never ends. In fact, I hate all singers who do that.

What a waste of a life. Imagine spending your life making music and then at the end, hating it (along with the rest of her former fans).

Other singers like Frank Sinatra never had that problem. His songs sound just a good today as they did back in the 1940s and 50s and he proudly sang them to the end of his life. But listen to a Streisand song from 1977 and you want to throw up. Even she wants to throw up, evidently. Sad. Really sad.
