Yep. Clark will be Hillary!'s running mate.
By announcing now, he accomplishes 2 things. 1) He takes the wind out of Deans sails and prevents him from establishing an unsurmountable lead; and 2)He begins putting together THE national campaign organization that must be in place for Hillary! to run later, if she chooses.
In 4 months+ if Bush looks vulnerable, Clark will turn over the keys to the Campaign organization and the Saudi inflated bank vault to Hillary! and he'll be her VP running mate.
[you heard it here first]

With these folks I don't think anything close to this is far fetched.

If this is a policy that he heard in his official capacity, I'd think he would be in trouble. What a comment to come up with in public...

White House devised a five-year plan after the 9/11 strikes to attack seven majority-Muslim countries. Seven ? It should be 22 plus china and north korea ....
This guy reminds me WAY TOO much of Hitler.

Bush administration was planning to attack Iraq first before taking action against Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Iran, Somalia and Sudan.
If only it were true.

I think you are right. Pretty amazing how calculating the Clintons are.

A former commander of NATO's forces in Europe, Clark claims he met a senior military officer in Washington in November 2001 who told him the Bush administration was planning to attack Iraq first before taking action against Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Iran, Somalia and Sudan.
I wonder if this is the same administration official who called him to pressure him to make claims about Iraq before the war...that Clark later said was actually an independent think tank in Canada...that after a little investigating appears to not exist...
This guy Clark truly is a fool. Crap like this will kill him in the general election if he gets that far. He is trying to lie like Clinton...but can't seem to pull it off...fortunately for the country I suppose.
If his statement is true, which I severely doubt, well, he is committing treason it seems to me.
That's the modern Democrat party. A lying would be traitor is the moderate candidate...though I guess, as unlike Dean, he hasn't personally killed an unborn child he won't be extreme enough for the party as a whole...

Note to Bush Administration: Don't forget Yemen.

Clark, who supervised NATOs campaign to oust Serbias forces from Kosovo in 1999, also takes a swipe at the United States allies in Europe, which provided staging bases and planning headquarters for "radical" groups. What goes on inside that 'brilliant' mind? Was he not a driving force behind crinton's Serbian bombing strategy? A strategy that supported the KLA, another muslim narco-terrorist organisation with ties to Al-Queda?
I wonder what his idea of "radical" groups is???

Attacking seven islamic states infested with terrorist savages? Sounds like a good plan to me!
To: Mark Felton
Let's give General Clark the Al Jezeera vote.
Birds of a feather...
To: Mark Felton
This is most odd. Is Clark really going to run on an invade Pakistan, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia plank? Even if he's just proposing publicly putting these countries on the poopy list he's walking into a pretty sticky thicket.
All these countries call for a more nuanced policy than Iran, North Korea, and Iraq. Are we going to be upgrading our opinion of Iran and North Korea or are we going to start isolating these other countries. How exactly does he get the help of Pakistan in tracking down terrorists?
Weird.

All Wesley Clark needs to do is nominate Scott Ritter as his potential running mate and he will win the democratic nomination.
As far as I'm concerned, If Clark made the statement that the White House is planning to invade 7 Muslim nations, he should be arrested and taken to GITMO
