Eric Schaff, chair of the National Abortion Federation, which promotes non-surgical abortion, said aspirin causes more deaths than RU-486. What an absolutely assinine statement. If you had as many people taking RU-486 annually as you did taking asprin, the numbers would be very very different.

I particularly liked how Planned Parenthood said the clincal trials had been completed with "no complications;" then when a doctor who had administered emergency treatment for shock to one of the participants who had collapsed and been brought to the emergency room came forward to disagree with this saccharine characterization, Planned Parenthood explained that "no complications" meant "no complications in the clinical trial process," in other words, I guess, no paperwork was lost and the building in which the experimental subjects were handled had not blown up.
Meaning of "is," anyone?

Oh that's an accurate comparison. I suppose women take RU-486 tens of thousands of times over their lifetime, like aspirin, and that men and children are using it, like aspirin.

It's just more murders for Planned Parenthood, I'm sure the organization has already rationalized these deaths.
Heck, I'm sure they think of the 18 year old as "just a bunch of cells" anyway...

Well I'm sure the busbody Democrats, always interested in SAFETY will ban this drug just like they ran out and banned ephedra after the baseball player died. They will, won't they? If we could only save one life.

Do you think they gave it the name "RU-486" on purpose? Awfully strange to me....
